Network Camera HT501W adopts MPEG-4 video compression format, allowing for optimization in image quality and bandwidth. HT501W (HT501W-MPoE Model only) supports IEEE802.3af PoE(Power over Ethernet) standard. It supplies power by connecting Ethernet, instead of using extra AC electric outlet to simply wiring and reduce construction cost of network infrastructure. What' s more, HT501W (HT501W-MPoE) can work as traditional phone when the electric power is cut off by UPS backup Ethernet power supply and free of influence of power failure. HT501W provides high-performance wireless transmission with a wide coverage range, as well as backward compatibility with IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g. HT501W supports WEP and WPA with multi-layer passport protection mechanism, warranting network connecting security. The omni-directional indoor antenna, which is included in the HT501W shipment, is exchangeable for further flexibility.
